A New Chef and a New Menu
Scott Garrett arrives at blue on blue at the Avalon Hotel after serving as Executive Sous Chef at Whist at the Viceroy Santa Monica. Garrett has begun crafting new menus of innovative California cuisine that are bound to delight diners and add an exciting new chapter to blue on blue’s tradition of culinary excellence.

Happy Hour
Scott Garrett has created a "Graze" and "Gulp" menu for the new Kick the Weekday Blues poolside happy hour at blue on blue. Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Guests are invited to “graze” and “gulp” a unique selection of tapas-style happy hour menu specials and a selection of drink specials, while lounging poolside and soaking up stunning mid-century décor at blue on blue. Best of all, valet at blue on blue is complimentary to all guests visiting for happy hour.

Earth Day All Week
Executive Chef Scott Garrett is celebrating Earth Day with a weeklong menu showcasing delectable organic and sustainable produce from Windrose and Weiser Farms, available April 21 to 26. The special prix fixe Earth Day menu will be paired with flights of biodynamic and organic wines, as well as a selection of farm-fresh cocktails utilizing organic spirits. At the end of the month, a portion of the proceeds from blue on blue's special "green" menu will be donated to Global Green USA.

Mother's Day
Enjoy Mother's Day with a choice of either a four-course, prix fixe brunch, or delicious à la carte breakfast and brunch, designed to suite every taste, as well as specialty drinks and non-alcoholic "mocktails" from a special menu crafted for moms-to-be.
